Color comes from hair color structure

Many organic dyes contain conjugated structures that absorb visible light. Structures absorb different wavelengths and we see different colors.

Oxidation breaks conjugated chains

Oxygen bleach or other oxidizing agents change key chemical bonds in the dye molecule so that it no longer effectively absorbs visible light, causing the color to lighten.

Do not mix different bleaches casually

Mixing different chemicals may produce irritating or toxic fumes. For home use, label directions should be strictly followed and avoid mixing detergents as if they were ordinary water solutions.
